A classic pecan pie belongs on the Thanksgiving table, and The Great San Saba River Pecan Company makes it easy. This Pecan Pie in a Jar is packed with rich pecans and all the goodness you need to create a homemade holiday favorite with very little fuss. Bake, serve warm, and add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the perfect finishing touch.

Pairs perfectly with the Emile Henry Modern Classics Pie Dish available at Dash Home + Kitchen.

Ingredients:

1 jar (22 oz to 24 oz) of The Great San Saba River Pecan Company Pecan Pie Filling

4 to 5 large eggs (or egg substitute)

4 tablespoons butter or margarine (melted and slightly cooled)

1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell OR 2 standard unbaked 9-inch pie shells

OR packaged pie crust mix such as Old School Pie Crust Mix

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) to allow the custard to set evenly without burning the crust edges.

  2. Warm the jar in the microwave for about 1 minute with the lid removed so the thick filling pours easily.

  3. Empty the jar into a large mixing bowl, scraping the sides clean.

  4. Whisk the eggs and melted butter together in a separate bowl or inside the empty jar.

  5. Combine everything by stirring the egg and butter mixture into the pecan filling until smooth and glossy.

  6. Pour the filling into your prepared pie crust(s).

  7. Bake at 300°F until the center is set (refer to your specific jar lid instructions for precise baking times, typically around 50–60 minutes for a deep-dish pie).
